Bring a Bear and meet Paddington at his First Concert!
Date: 17 December, 2011
Parents and young children are invited to bring a bear and join in the fun at our special Children?s Concert on Saturday 17th December.
After listening to the exciting Prelude from Bizet’s Carmen, which includes the famous Toreador’s Song, you will be able to join in with the orchestra in Paddington Bear’s First Concert.
You will learn Paddington?s own song, and take part in the story as he travels from Peru to the Portobello Road. Paddington meets some new friends, learns a Hungarian dance, and goes to his first concert in the Royal Albert Hall. Here he conducts the orchestra in a performance of his own song!
We are also supporting Dreamdrops, the local charity that helps raise money for children?s health services, including the special baby unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Get there early to buy your Dreamdrops tombola and raffle tickets before the start of the concert, and have your chance to win a prize, including a very special bear!
